Show Notes

This all ages show was the first show of a 2-night stand at The Front. The setlist for set II was adopted from fan sources and the setlist for set I is unknown. During the end of Run Like An Antelope, Trey quoted lyrics from Col. Bruce Hampton & The Aquarium Rescue Unit’s version of Fixin’ To Die – a song Phish covered years later. During the Hold Your Head Up intro, the band teased Let’s Go (The Cars cover). During the Hold Your Head Up outro, Trey introduced the crew punctuated by Page’s Charge fanfare teases. He then dedicated Mikes’s Song to “Mindy” who was leaving and the “spirit of Ian in the back of the room.” There was a shoutout to monitor engineer Pete Schall during the Mike’s Song intro and a tease by Page of the Andy Griffith Theme aka Fishin’ Hole during Weekapaug Groove. Trey teased Groove Is In The Heart (Deee-Lite cover) during Weekapaug and My Sweet One. At least Rocky Top and possibly other songs earlier in the set featured guest fiddler Russell Flanagan.
