Show Notes

This was an all ages, 1-set show and Phish’s 1st performance at The Capitol Theatre – a historic movie-vaudeville house built in 1926 with a capacity of 1,800. Flyers read “PHISH & BLUES TRAVELER together for 1 KILLER Show”. Phish played first but both bands played one set. This show featured the 1st known performance of Don’t Get Me Wrong, to which John Popper lent his harmonica talents during the soundcheck and show. You Enjoy Myself was dedicated by Page and Trey to Lee Carpenter for his birthday. During the Hold Your Head Up intro, Trey introduced Fish as “the one and only Zero Man”. Trey dedicated Carolina to Bob and Elaine Dillof, Sofi’s parents. When they debuted Don’t Get Me Wrong during the encore, Trey told the story of how they wrote the song the last time Popper was in Vermont . Trey subsequently sat in on guitar with Blues Traveler during their set for Gloria.
