Show Notes

This was Phish’s 1st show at the Nutter Center – a basketball and hockey arena with a capacity of 12,192.  Tickets cost $20.00.  Soundcheck included an experimental Dog Log with Trey on percussion and the slow version of Poor Heart with some mashed up Sleeping Monkey lyrics.  A slightly bumpy start to Fast Enough For You preceded an especially impassioned guitar solo.  Tweezer > Makisupa Policeman > Run Like An Antelope was the only time this 3-song combination was played.Makisupa was played slightly faster than usual.  The Makisupa keyword was “Tea”.  Trey dropped parts of the Makisupa Polilceman melody into the beginning of Run Like An Antelope giving the second segue of this segment a bit of a mashup feel.  After this show the band and crew traveled 457 miles overnight to Hershey, Pennsylvania.  This show was released in 2019 as an archival stream/download at LivePhish.com.
