Show Notes

This was Phish’s 1st show at the Olympic Center – they played the 1980 Rink, an ice arena built for the 1980 Winter Olympics (XIII Olympic Winter Games) with a capacity of 8,500.  It was the first show of a 2-night stand.  Tickets cost $20.00 and the show was sold out.  The Dog Log soundcheck was blues-style, Poor Heart soundcheck was the (extra) slow version, and Funky Bitch soundcheck was the (extra) fast version.  Drum Tech Pete Carini assisted the fans with their Audience Chess Move.  Reba ended without whistling.  Weekapaug Groove was unfinished, ending with a short ambient wash that provided a segue into The Squirming Coil.
