Show Notes

This was Phish’s second show at The Centrum and the first show of a 2-night stand. Tickets cost $23.50 and the show was sold out. Poor Heart from the soundcheck was the slow, half-time version. Fish drummed out a Demand Tease during the soundcheck. After Guyute, Trey said “Thank you. Guyute the holiday pig welcoming you here to Worcester.” The P.A. dropped out during Rift and the band played right through the problem. In the middle of Rift (before the “and silence contagious” line), Trey commented “that was the Avant-garde version.” Johnny B. Goode was teased during Wilson. Tweezer included some playing that foreshadowed the 12/29/95 Bass Jam. I Didn’t Know included a steady cowbell beat and a trombone solo from Fish. Trey sang the verses of Fee through his megaphone.
