Show Notes

This was Phish’s 1st show at North Charleston Coliseum – a hockey and basketball arena with a capacity of 13,295.  Tickets cost $20.50.  The Dog Log soundcheck was a fast, swing version and the Poor Heart and Funky Bitch soundchecks were slow.  The show opener was the 1st Dinner And A Movie in more than a year (since 10/22/94).  I’m Blue I’m Lonesome was performed acoustic with Trey on acoustic guitar, Mike on banjo, Page on upright bass and Fish on mandolin.  I’m So Tired was played for the 1st time since its 10/31/94 debut.  You Enjoy Myself included a serious Brick House Jam (The Commodores cover).  Acoustic Army was sandwiched inside Big Black Furry Creature From Mars for the only time in those songs’ history.  Won’t You Come Home Bill Bailey featured Dr. Jack McConnell, Page’s dad, on vocals for the 1st Bill Bailey in more than a year (since 4/22/94).  After this show the band and crew traveled 202 miles overnight to Charlotte, North Carolina.
