Show Notes

This was Phish’s third (second headliner) show at SPAC.  Reserved tickets cost $20.00.  Acoustic Army during soundcheck included teases of Shine (Collective Soul cover).  Times Loves A Hero, played during soundcheck was the1st known performance of that song in more than 6 years (since 4/15/89).  Soundcheck also included the 1st known Rocky Mountain Way with lyrics played by Phish (see also 2/16/91 and 7/23/97).  This show had a bit of a Led Zeppelin vibe with a Heartbreaker tease during Possum and Immigrant Song teases during You Enjoy Myself (see also 11/14/95).  This experimental Down With Disease was unfinished and segued into Free.  After this show the band and crew traveled 230 miles overnight for a day off in New York.  The 2-CD set “A Live One”, recorded throughout 1994, was released on Elektra the day after this show.  6/26/95 Saratoga was released in 2017 at LivePhish.com.
