Show Notes
This was Phish’s 1st and only show at The Orpheum Theatre – a historic vaudeville house/movie palace opened in 1927 with a capacity of approximately 2,500 and later renovated/re-opened in 1977 as home of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. Tickets cost $26.50 and the show was sold out. Reba ended without whistling, instead leading to the acoustic song to follow. I’m Blue I’m Lonesome was performed acoustic without microphones with Trey on acoustic guitar, Mike on banjo, Page on upright bass and Fish on mandolin. Hello My Baby was performed A cappella without microphones. After this show the band and crew traveled 415 miles overnight to Spokane Washington.
