This was Phish’s only show at Will Rogers Auditorium – a historic Art Deco theater designed by Wyatt C. Hedrick and built in 1936 inside the Will Rogers Memorial Center with a capacity of approximately 2,800. Tickets cost $18.50 and the show was sold out. I’m Blue I’m Lonesome was performed acoustic without microphones with Trey on acoustic guitar, Mike on banjo, Page on upright bass and Fish on mandolin. This show featured the 1st Life On Mars (David Bowie cover) played – the song was dedicated to Sofi. Before Tube, Trey announced “This is the town I was born in” – Tube was played for the 1st time in more than a year (since 6/26/94). Sweet Adeline was performed A cappella without microphones. After this show the band and crew traveled 194 miles overnight to Austin.
