Show Notes
This was Phish’s second headline show at FLPAC.. Tickets cost $20.00 and the show was sold out. Funky Bitch during the soundcheck was the blues version. AC/DC Bag Intro during the soundcheck was played twice. Fish played some vacuum during It’s Ice. Maze contained a Dave’s Energy Guide tease. This Tweezer, which was named “The Fleezer” due to the venue name and Trey’s lyrics during Tweezer Reprise, clocked in at nearly 40 minutes, sandwiched the 1st My Generation played in public and even included some vacuum from Fish. My Generation arose out of the murky madness of The Fleezer and was played in the bluegrass style of the previous night’s soundcheck (see also 10/31/95). Tweezer segued directly into Tweezer Reprise by way of a piano interlude that foreshadowed the genesis of Keyboard Army. This was the 1st Tweezer > Tweezer Reprise combination in more than four years (since 4/22/91). After this show the band and crew traveled 391 miles overnight to Stanhope, New Jersey. Set II of this show was remastered and released with 6/20/95, as an archival download at LivePhish.com in April, 2013.
