This was Phish’s second show at the Fabulous Fox and the 1st night of a 3-night stand (the first 3-night stand since 5/25-5/27/94 at The Warfield). Tickets cost $22.50 and the show was sold out. Tweezer Reprise opener was just the 2nd time Tweezer Reprise opened a show (see 10/21/95). Reba included Shave And A Haircut teases from Trey and Mike before the whistling. Trey teased The Rover during Punch You In The Eye. The band started set II with a tease of We Are The Champions which was, no doubt, commentary on the band vs. audience chess match. Bathtub Gin included a Rift tease/jam. This was the 1st Avenu Malkanu after Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin’s assassination on November 4, 1995. Hello My Baby was performed A cappella without microphones.
