Show Notes

This was Phish’s second and last show to-date at Broome County Arena. Tickets cost $22.50 and the show was sold out. This show took place during a snow storm. My Sweet One from the soundcheck was performed A cappella. Makisupa Policeman keyword(s) were “woke up this morning, looked at the clock it was 1:11, rolled over, Gaddafi in my bed…so I smoked a joint with him.” Bold as Love was played by request for a fan up front holding a sign – Trey commented that the band only plays requests on signs if they are songs the band wants to play (apparently Brother, on another fan’s sign, did not qualify). Trey said “Can’t play every sign.” After this show the band and crew traveled 184 miles overnight to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This show was released on CD and download as “LivePhish01” on Elektra in September 2001. Free from the soundcheck was later released as an iTunes bonus in February 2009.
