This was Phish’s second performance at Riverport Amphitheater but their 1st headline show there. Tickets cost $20.00. Shaggy Dog, performed at the soundcheck, was the first known version since the 7/17/93 soundcheck. Reba ended without whistling. Chalk Dust Torture included a tease of Dave’s Energy Guide. Trey called this rendition of Golgi Apparatus “the Jazz Version.” Sweet Adeline was performed A cappella “without microphones”. Before the song, Trey said “we’re going to try to break our all-time record for the biggest place we’ve done this without microphones so it’s going to have to be super quiet in here for this to work.” After this show, the band and crew traveled 286 miles overnight to Memphis, Tennessee.
