Show Notes

This was Phish’s only show at St. Paul Civic Center – a hockey arena opened in 1973 with a capacity of 16,552. Tickets cost $19.50. The soundcheck’s All I Have To Do Is Dream (Everly Brothers) was sung a cappella and was the 1st or possibly the 2nd known rendition (see 6/25/94 soundcheck mashup). My Long Journey Home and I’m Blue I’m Lonesome were performed acoustic with Trey on acoustic guitar, Mike on banjo, Page on upright bass and Fish on mandolin. Reba ended without whistling. Set II featured the 1st Breathe (by Pink Floyd) played – performed instrumentally as a jam between Mike’s Song and Sparkle. Suzy Greenberg was unfinished and segued into the third-ever Crossroads. After this show the band and crew traveled 548 miles overnight to Kalamazoo, Michigan for a day off.
