This show was part of the second day of the second annual “Laguna Seca Daze” – a 2-day, multiple-act festival promoted by Bill Graham Presents featuring Phish, Four Non Blondes, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, The Mother Hips and Meat Puppets. Tickets cost $30.00 per day. Guelah Papyrus included The Simpsons secret language. Wilson was played by request from the audience. As the band re-took the stage for the second encore, Page thanked the crowd as Mike and Fish spontaneously started the 1st and only “Guitar Player Is Taking A Leak Jam” played – a short, jazzy 3-man jam named for Fish’s improvised lyrics while Trey was in the bathroom. Before Harry Hood, Trey explained that this was the last show of the first part of tour. He joked that they had to keep playing because they didn’t know what else to do, saying “What are we gonna do for the next two weeks?” This show ended the Republique du Phish” spring leg of tour and the band and crew traveled home for a short break. During his time off, Trey sat in with Michael Ray and the Cosmic Krewe on 6/3/94 at Club Toast in Burlington, Vermont.
