Show Notes

This was Phish’s eighth and final show on the UNH campus. The venue was a hockey and basketball arena for the UNH Wildcats with a capacity of 4,500. Trey’s foot was in a brace due to torn ligaments. He played seated on a stool. During the trampoline segment of You Enjoy Myself, Brad Sands stood in for Trey who introduced him as “my understudy.” Trey then stayed seated nonchalantly reading a newspaper while Brad and Mike did the tmini-ramps routine. You Enjoy Myself also contained teases of Sunshine Of Your Love and You Are The Sunshine Of My LIfe (Stevie Wonder cover). The You Enjoy Myself vocal jam was based on My Soul (Clifton Chenier cover), foreshadowing the band’s complete performances of the song starting nearly three years later (on 2/13/97). Amazing Grace was performed without microphones. The encore, Possum, also included teases of Sunshine Of Your Love.
