This was Phish’s only show at Marine Midland Arena – a hockey arena (largest indoor arena in Western New York) opened in 1996. Less than a month after this show the venue’s JumboTron collapsed onto the ice before a Sabres vs. Bruins game. Tickets cost $22.50, listed capacity was 19,200, and the show was sold out on a rainy Saturday. Set II started with a Wish You Were Here (Pink Floyd cover) tease before AC/DC Bag. Run Like An Antelope included a Mound tease.Trey sang the verses of Fee through a megaphone. After this show, the band and crew traveled 403 miles to New York City for a day off.
