Show Notes

This was Phish’s only performance at Pacific Coliseum – a hockey arena located in Hastings Park opened in 1968 with a concert capacity of 14.000. Tickets cost $29.50 CAD. This show featured the 1st Midnight On The Highway (Hot Rize cover) played by Phish, which the band learned while stopped at the United States/Canadian border after playing the Spokane Arena. The Makisupa Policeman keyword(s) were “Woke up in the morning, border guard in my bunk. He took his f*cking dog on the bus, and he found my dank.” This was the last Phish show in Canada until 7/20/99. Weekapaug Groove was unfinished and segued into Catapult, which included some Mike foot bell. After this show the band and crew traveled 315 miles overnight to Portland, Oregon.
