This was Phish’s second show at Hampton Coliseum aka “The Mothership.” Tickets (all general admission) cost $22.50 and the show was sold out. During I Didn’t Know, Trey introduced Fish as “Norton Charlton Heston” on vacuum. The Makisupa keyword was “dank”. Before Stash, Trey said that the band is often asked what is the best room to play in and “this is pretty much it for me…good sound, everybody gets to go wherever they want on the floor, couldn’t beat it.” Trey debuted a new (his third), Languedoc guitar at this show – a Koa G2 with Paul’s signature inlayed on the headstock. After this show the band and crew traveled 361 miles overnight to Charlotte, North Carolina.
