Show Notes

This was Phish’s only performance at “The Arena” – a multi-purpose indoor venue opened in 1995 with a capacity of 12,163. Stated capacity for this show was 7,500 and tickets cost $22.50. Magilla and Funky Bitch soundchecks were both played as slow arrangements. It’s Ice was an appropriate opener as this show took place during a rain and Ice storm. After Taste, Trey thanked the audience for enduring the ice storm and introduced Ginseng Sullivan. Julius included a Cocaine tease/quote “get down on the ground with Spokane” and a thank you to the city of Spokane. After this show the band and crew traveled 402 miles and crossed the border to Canada enroute to Vancouver, British Columbia.
