Show Notes

This was Phish’s only show at Coral Sky Amphitheater, which was opened soon before this show in 1996 with a capacity of 19,000. Tickets cost $24.75. Continuing his tenure from Tallahassee and Atlanta, Karl Perazzo played percussion the entire show. Trey sang the verses of Fee through his megaphone. Crosseyed And Painless blew up into a huge jam with Dave’s Energy Guide teases and an extended “still waiting” segment. Trey replaced the “Marco Esquandolas” lyric in Run Like An Antelope with “Norton Charlton Heston.” During the encore, Butch Trucks joined the band on drums for and Fish played Trey’s percussion kit. After this show the band and crew traveled 289 miles overnight to Gainesville, FL. Parts of this show (Ya Mar, Crosseyed > Antelope, Waste, Harry Hood, and A Day In The Life) were broadcast on The Album Network radio program on or about Halloween 1997. The entire show was captured multi-cam by the in-house video crew and was released in October 2010 as the Coral Sky DVD and a download at livephish.com.
