Show Notes

This was Phish’s 1st show at Hersheypark Stadium – a historic stadium opened in 1939 with a concert capacity of just over 25,000. The show was general admission, tickets cost $25.00 and the show was sold out. Trey sang the verses of Fee through his megaphone. Reba ended without whistling. Before the encore, Trey thanked the audience “for coming here and helping us play The Land of Chocolate…(in Homer Simpson voice) mmmm chocolate” and dedicated Julius to Brad Sands’ brother Matty. After this show the band and crew traveled 450 miles overnight to Plattsburgh, New York.
