This was Phish’s fourth show at MSG and the first show of a 2-night stand. Tickets cost $25.00 and the show was sold out. On the day off between Buffalo and The Garden, the band was interviewed on the Modern Rock Live radio show in New York City to promote ‘Billy Breathes.’ This was the first Star Spangled Banner opener. Ginseng Sullivan was played for the first time in more than a year (since 6/23/95). Reba ended without whistling.
