Although the March/April 1992 Phish Update had listed a TBA San Diego area show, the gig never took place so This was Phish’s 1st San Diego show. The venue was a concert hall in the SDSU Aztec Center with a capacity of 1,050. Tickets cost $15.50. Wilson contained Oom Pah Pah, The Simpsons and Key Change secret language. Trey sang the verses of Fee through his megaphone. Ginseng Sullivan was performed acoustic without amplification with Trey on acoustic guitar, Mike on upright bass, Page on Melodica and Fish on Madonna washboard. The Divided Sky was teased during Weekapaug Groove, which was unfinished in favor of a segue into The Man Who Stepped Into Yesterday. After this show the band and crew traveled 130 miles for a day off in Los Angeles.
