John McEuen from the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band sat in on banjo for Old Home Place, Uncle Pen and Amazing Grace Jam. Timber, Taste, and Funky Bitch featured Peter Apfelbaum on tenor saxophone. Taste included a unique intro jam featuring piano and Apfelbaum’s sax. Amazing Grace Jam and Possum included Peter Apfelbaum on tenor saxophone and John McEuen on lap steel guitar. The lyrics to Brother referenced Page’s brother, Steve McConnell. Punch You In The Eye and 2001 contained Get Up Offa That Thing (James Brown cover) teases/quotes and JB testimony by Fish. Trey teased Super Bad (James Brown cover) during 2001. Amazing Grace/Amazing Grace Jam was released in November 2007 on the ‘Road to Vegas’ bonus disc that was included with the ‘Vegas 96’ box set. The complete show was released in 2024 as an archival stream/download at LivePhish.com. The Winter 1997 Doniac Schvice shared, under the headline “It was 20 years ago today…” Trey’s Princeton Day School Middle School Music Report for Chorus class dated 11/30/76. Trey’s Rhythm and Melody were graded “O” for Outstanding but his Participation in singing, Rehearsals, Performance, Behavior, Attitude and Vocal Work were all graded “U” for Unacceptable as was his overall progress.
