This was the 1st Phish show at Bryce Jordan Center – a brand new basketball arena opened in January 1996. The venue was located on the PSU campus at the intersection of Curtain Road and University Drive. Tickets cost $23.50, listed capacity was 15,471, and the show was sold out. This was the first 2-set show to open with 2001. Trey played Talk on acoustic guitar. The Star Spangled Banner was the 1st played by Phish and was performed (as with all Phish renditions to-date) A cappella. After this show the band and crew traveled 135 miles overnight to Pittsburgh.
