Show Notes

This was Phish’s 3rd show at the Campus Recreation Center and their second visit to this venue within six months. Tickets cost $19.00. My Friend My Friend ended without the usual “Myfe!” ending and instead segued into Reba which, in turn, ended without whistling. Trey’s narration during Fly Famous Mockingbird included the Vibration of Life, as he explained “because this is our third time in this room and 3 is a magic number”. I’m Blue I’m Lonesome and My Long Journey Home were performed acoustic without microphones with Trey on acoustic guitar, Mike on banjo, Page on upright bass and Fish on mandolin. The band managed to fashion a high-flying, non-stop set II. This uniquely extended My Sweet One was sandwiched within Run Like An Antelope for the only time and featured an unusually long delay at the end with some of the band members snoring aloud. Run Like An Antelope was unfinished and segued smoothly into the second-ever (and only electric version of) Fixin’ To Die. This was also one of only two Mike’s Song > Catapult transitions and the only Catapult > McGrupp transition to-date. Amazing Grace was performed A cappella without microphones. This show was released, along with 12/1/94 Salem, OR as an archival Download at LivePhish.com in February 2005.
