Show Notes

This show was originally scheduled (and listed in the Feb/Mar 1991 Phish Update) for 3/14/91 but it was canceled and moved to this date. The Marriott Ballroom show in Vail originally listed in the Phish Update for this day never occurred. The Ten Mile Room had a capacity of about 500 and tickets cost $11. The Man Who Stepped Into Yesterday was preceded by a tease of a jazz tune, possibly Take 5 (Dave Brubeck cover). After Rocky Top, Trey stopped to compliment the sound in the room, saying it was “the ideal situation with the rugs on the wall…” Motivated by the great acoustics, Trey then dedicated Colonel Forbin’s Ascent to Mike (Lynch) “from the Telluride Contingent”, who recorded the band during their Colorado ’88 tour. Suzy Greenberg featured a tease of Reba. The Ten Mile Room was destroyed in 2017 when the roof collapsed under the weight of historic snowfall.
