This 18-and-over show was Phish’s second performance at the Variety Playhouse.  The soundcheck featured a slow, partial version of All Things Reconsidered as well as a Funky Jam with lyrics from Sweet Emotion.  Before Sparkle, Trey explained how much they enjoy playing in Atlanta, mentioning that Artis The Spoon Man from Seattle always says “the best thing you can give to another person is your attention.”  He also said “this is one of the few new songs we’re going to play tonight.”  Sweet Adeline was performed without microphones.  Tweezer included teases of Band On The Run (Paul McCartney cover) by Trey.  Page and Trey sang “Henrietta” vocals during the Hold Your Head Up intro.  My Sweet One was sung first a cappella led by Fish, then was played normally.  Trey teased Rhapsody In Blue during the Possum encore, which also contained Charlie Chan and The Simpsons secret language.
