Show Notes
This “show” was part of the Phish Phamily Phrolic I, a semi-annual event hosted by Ernie and Geneva Anastasio at their home where the band, crew and their extended family would gather. Trey played a different guitar (not a Languedoc), Mike played his Languedoc bass, Page played a single electric keyboard and Fish a mini drum kit on the porch. I Didn’t Know featured Mimi Fishman playing a standard, stand-up, household vacuum. The World Is Waiting For The Sunrise (Gene Lockhart and Ernest Seitz cover) and Unknown? 1 were sung and played without the band by Jack and Mary Ellen McConnell on ukeleles (possibly lightly accompanied by Page on keys). Unknown 2 and Bill Bailey Won’t You Please Come Home featured Jack McConnell joining the band on ukelele and vocals. This was the 1st known performance of Unknown 2 (The World Is Waiting For The Sunrise and Unknown 1 are not counted here as Phish debuts since they were played without the band). After this reunion, the band returned to Vermont for more work in the studio and an Oh Kee Pa Ceremony at their home in Winooski sometime before their next show on 9/25/91.
