This show took place at a historic Art Deco theatre built in 1928 with a capacity of about 2,600. Tickets cost $17. Gumbo was played during soundcheck for the first known time since 7/25/91 (see also 2/7/93 Tweezer). The rare David Bowie opener’s intro included Oom Pah Pah secret language. Trey played the My Friend My Friend intro on acoustic guitar both during the soundcheck and the show. An extended Esther intro included Random Note and The Simpsons secret language as well as a Charge fanfare tease by Page. Reportedly Trey acted out Esther by pulling the foam cover off of his microphone and pretending it was the doll. Page teased Charge again during Big Ball Jam. Amazing Grace was performed without microphones.
