Show Notes

This was an all ages show.  Tickets cost $12.50.  A historic building built in the 1920’s and 1930’s called the Eagles Club housed The Rave on the main floor as well as the larger Eagles Ballroom (where Phish played “The OJ Show” 6/17/94) on the other side of the building.  Fans who arrived early at this show were treated to free Old Style beer served from 7pm until 9pm.  The Landlady included a Dave’s Energy Guide tease.  It’s Ice started over the David Bowie/Maze hi-hat intro.  I Didn’t Know featured Fish’s last known performance on his vacuum powered bagpipes in which “the Piper” played the pipes without the bag.  Possum contained Finger Scrape and Fall Down secret language and teases of Making Our Dreams Comes True (Theme from Laverne & Shirley) during the intro and Rhapsody In Blue and Stash teases in the jam, plus a Simpsons secret language ending.  Sanity started with a hint of Buried Alive mixed in.  The Mike’s Song intro included alternate “call it what you will but you know it’s my (his) song” lyrics.  After Golgi Apparatus, Trey introduced “Paul Languedoc on the soundboard.” Rocky Top was performed as a second encore after the band left the stage and returned following Good Times Bad Times.  Set I of this show was memorialized in an infamous Italian bootleg CD called “Sloth”.
