Show Notes

This was an all ages show in a venue that shares a building with the Agora Ballroom, where Phish played 9/29/91. Unlike the much smaller standing-room Ballroom, Agora Theater had a capacity of about 1,800 and was the room that inspired Huey Lewis’ The Heart of Rock and Roll.  Mike introduced Possum during the intro, saying “this is a song that Jeff wrote” as the band peppered it with secret language including Finger Scrape, Fall Down, Me And My Arrow (aka Asshole In The Front Row) and Random Laugh. During Fee, a full-sized palm tree prop found backstage was seemingly-impromptu lowered behind the band on Page’s side. During his Cold As Ice Intro, Fish introduced Mike and announced he had to “tune” his bass (actually a detuning). Fish went on to introduce Bike saying “this is the last song on the first Pink Floyd album. It’s a great song…and I forgot how it began!” The Cold As Ice outro was especially short – more like a little jam based on Cold As Ice.  Sweet Adeline was performed without microphones.
