Bruce Hampton & the Aquarium Rescue Unit – they used to be a feeble bluegrass banduntil they read this great book and now look at them!” During Stash, Trey added the alternate lyrics “police pull you over beat the shit out of you” referring to days of Los Angeles riots following the April 29th verdict in the Rodney King police brutality case. Set II opened with Glide dedicated to Shari on her 21st birthday. David Bowie contained Finger Scrape, Fall Down, Oom Pah Pah, Chaos and Random Laugh secret language and segued in and out of the Band/Crew Football Theme Song, performed for the 1st time in more than a year since Ann Arbor (4/16/91). David Bowie also included teases of Miss Gulch’s/Witch’s Theme. Mike was seen shooting video during the trampolines segment of You Enjoy Myself, the jam of which included a tease of Don’t Get Me Wrong. The You Enjoy Myself vocal jam was based on “don’t stick it in the back door.” During Big Black Furry Creature From Mars, Trey climbed his stack and adjusted his microphone so he could sing from his perch. Meanwhile, Mike lowered his mic stand so he could sing from his knees. When Fish counted off “1, 2, 3, 4”, Chris triggered the strobe lights and Trey jumped down in a moment of High Theater.
