This was an all ages, 1-set show and was Phish’s third appearance on the multiple act H.O.R.D.E. Tour with Col. Bruce Hampton & The Aquarium Rescue Unit, the Spin Doctors, Widespread Panic and Blues Traveler. It was also Phish’s 1st show at the GSAC – an outdoor amphitheater with a capacity of approximately 17,500. For some reason, no taping was allowed at this show. During The Landlady, dancers appeared onstage with Trey and Mike. In an unusual move, Fish played a long vacuum solo in the middle of Cavern while the band froze until he finished and then finished Cavern with the final note. During You Enjoy Myself, John Popper joined in a gag about his weight (he was really big at the time). A third trampoline and microphone were brought out for him, but he broke right through his trampoline on his first jump and left the stage.
