Show Notes

This was Phish’s 1st 2-set show in Canada. It was an all ages show at a former 1920s movie house-turned-nightclub with a capacity of about 1,000. The audience was split into 19-and-over in the balcony and all ages on the floor. The soundcheck began with a James Brown style funk jam with a variation on the “Including Your Own Hey” exercise where Trey yelled “Take it where it is” and “Take it where it ain’t”, among other testimony. Bouncing Around The Room and Run Like An Antelope both contained acrobatic teases of All Things Reconsidered. Antelope also included The Simpsons and Fall Down secret language. You Enjoy Myself featured teases of The Ballad Of Davy Crockett during the song and vocal jam. This show featured the 1st Ride Captain Ride in two and half years (since 4/14/90). This show was followed by a brutal 344-mile drive through a terrible snowstorm and bone-chilling temperatures to Montreal. The show was released in 2015 as an archival stream/download at LivePhish.com.
